They took the name from two signs merged together, in their garage, and made it an ambigram. >> What are the band members names and what instruments do they play? The album concept and and art direction was done by MENEW, and designed at Ink Monkey Design Lab. The cover image was adapted from a work of art by Joan Miro, self-portait (1937-38). The inner sleeve excerpt was written by Joshua Nixon and photography by William Rainey. >> What bands do MENEW like? One of MENEW's greatest inspirations is U2. It was one of the reasons they started the band. Other influences include: The Beatles, David Bowie, Muse, Bob Dylan, The Cure, and Oasis to name a few. >> Where can I find the lyrics?
